Personally, I agreed with all that you said in your response. They asked for
cut throat and that's what your gave them.
It was a "cut throat" critique like yours that turned my own web design
around, caused me to understand the more professional consideration of design
(like removing IE, LE and Netscape logos from my business pages, generally
losing the fluff and concentrating on content.) Don't ever hesitate to
critique another site. I would even welcome such a critique of my own site as
I have a long way to go before I am where I want to be.

RE: the "it's self " usage, the gramatically correct word would be "itself",
meaning "intrinsically", the essential nature of a thing: ("...was not in
itself dangerous..."). I am surprised that anyone picked up on this minuscule
error, as most of the postings and web sites themselves are riddled with
grammer that makes me wince.

Critique from my peers is the whole reason I joined this group, and I am
assuming that was also the goal of others in this group. In the long run it is
my customers and potential customers that I must listen to. No matter what I
want to design, they will have the last word. In the mean time, I will try to
glean all of the information I can to improve my style, ability,
openmindedness and product. Part of that will be taking the strokes with the
slams and living through it.
