Sorry If I sounded a little cranky this morning.....my son was in a very loud
mood. :)
It was nice of you to inform me when you fixed the IE 3.0 problem, so let's
tell the rest of the world. (world, it's fixed) :)
So, I went to your site. (You probably won't like this, but I switched from
Netscape 4.04 to IE 3.01 to do it.) Running a P166, 33.6K, 16 million colors,
800x600, 14" (tiny) monitor.
This is a truly impressive site. At first, I was thrown off by the "Choose
your resolution" buttons, but when I got inside I understood. In general,
it's a good idea to make the site so it can be viewed in any resolution
without having to select, but your use of space, graphics and frames would
make this a little hard. (I think) The one suggestion I have in this area is
to give a choice for 1024x768.
It looks like you have really gone to town on the design, it's a little
graphics intensive, but I had no problem waiting for the graphics to load. I
love the way you have made the most of the available space by telling us where
the link goes as it is passed over by the mouse. (Once I figured this out, I
decided not to say anything about the cryptic navigation bar. It's not as
cryptic as I thought.) :)
This is just about the best use of frames I have ever seen. (This coming from
a guy that HATES frames. Don't ask why, I just do...normally. You may have
just changed my mind on that subject.)
Overall, I have to tell you that I am impressed. The professional look and
feel of the site made me forget any preconcieved notions I had after this
morning. :) Well done.
