what I think...
you've got a good concept here, but the look is a little off.  There seems to
be some disparity between the big E on the left and the imagemap on the right.
The imagemap has a simple matte look, while the big E has a popout glossy
complex look.  What do you think?  So I say, put more light into the look of
the imagemap, but don't overkill, or else it might look cheap.  Try an
unannoying mouseover for the menu, maybe.    
oh yeah.. hmm, maybe its just my opinion, but too many ovals, and all the same
size and look, needs more variety with that.  It's like seeing lotsa boxy
buttons in a column, only with ovals.  I also believe my problem with the
ovals is that it's all curves on the imagemap, and pointy edges in the
graphic.   Maybe you can incorporate the imagemap as part of the logo.  Move
it lot closer to the graphic at least.
Another problem is that size, much too big and overbearing.  You might want to
change it to that centered look (nice graphic in the center, lotsa space
around it), with the graphics shrunk down a bit.  
oh, and your logo down the side.  I don't know if you want to change it, but
to fit with everything else, the edges of the sun and the colors should be
softened.
well, okay, I hope that helped, its basically pretty good looking, though.
