In the spirit of procrastination, I'll bite :-)

Critique of: http://www.mts.net/~nsv/essential

Graphics:
-Simple, quick loading and somewhat eyecatching.
	-Nice use of colors
	-Background image
-sometimes it felt as if the grain of the design was mixing into the
words.
Maybe lighted it just a bit?
-reminded me of one a stereogram, something I can never seem to get
to work for me. <g>

Resolution:
	1024: Very fluid.
640x480: Fit well when the browser was maximized. Any smaller window
seemed to eat the text up without offering a scroll bar. I didn't look
at the coding, but if I'm right, it's a table thing.

Navigation:
Bottom Navbar: Well done. Current page removed appropriately in each
case.
Compas: This caught my eye right off. I really like it and the way
it functions overall. One minor thing that I would try to change is to
get the arrow graphic to stay pointed to the last pointed at link. It
jumps around and is kind of dizzy-ing the way it is now, always jumping
back to Home.
(I think I see now why it is the way it is and that it doesnt stay
put, but I'm sticking with the dizzy-ing comment)
Load time:
	56k @ 48,0000
Had no problems with any of the pages downloading quickly. The
portfolio page was really that bad either, considering the content.

Feel:
IMO, I would leave the 'including "mouseovers"' out, or rework that
line. Kind of gives the feel that Java can be reduced to simple mouse
tricks (which is probably true in alot of cases). Possibly describe to
the customer that he/she can receive "custom javascripts" or java
tailored to his/her needs.
Forms: Are these CGI or mailto: forms? If it's CGI scripting (or
perl or whatever), sell it to them with a description.

I like the profolio setup. Straight forward, quick descriptions.

I need to get a paper going, hope this helps a little.

Sincerely,
Mike Beane
