        Hey Filip,

As always, the following is simply my personal opinion. Use at your own risk.

Powermac 275mhz  64 meg RAM   24-bit 823x624 15" monitor
33.6 dialup modem   NN 4.01, NN 3.0, IE 3.0

1: Found an open "A" tag on line 89.

89          <a name="stat">
91            <a href="http://be.nedstat.net/cgi-bin/viewstat?name=aardbei">
92              <img
src="http://be.nedstat.net/cgi-bin/nedstat.gif?name=aardbei" border=0
alt="statistieken van deze homepage" width=25 height=25 align=center>
93            </a>

2: It's not absolutely necessary, but including HEIGHT and WIDTH tags for
each image will generally improve the speed at which the page is rendered.

3: The flashing GIF images (example: menu9.gif)that rotate between menu
title and "in constructie" are pretty annoying. It's generally better to
wait until a particular page is completed (or at least presentable to the
public) before you include it on the site.
3: I've looked at a couple of pages now. I can't comment on the content,
but I don't see any problems with the navigation system. I also like the
layout, which is sharp and focuses the attention on the content. However,
the load-times are very poor. The problem seems to be the server; I'm
averaging about 250 bytes/sec. Your pages are fairly light on bandwidth, so
I don't see anything else you can do (short of setting up mirrored sites or
buying your own T3 line). Otherwise, goreign visitors (such as me, from
Ester, Alaska) are just going to have to wait longer.
4: Sites like this require very definite legal copyright information. I'm
not sure about Belgium copyright laws, but international law requires
written authorization from the artist agreeing to let you display the
artwork on the Internet. If you have this authorization, great. If you
don't, then you should research the Belgium copyright laws further. Also,
make sure to state that the site resides in Belgium, and is therefore
regulated (and protected) by Belgium law. If possible, you might want to
talk to a lawyer, especially if the site expands or gets a lot of traffic.

        Overall, I like the layout and found *very* few technical problems.
The biggest problem I can find involves the copyright stuff. Otherwise,
this is a great site, focused on content with easy navigation and clean
graphics. Well done! Good luck, Filip, and happy holidays, ya'll.
