ANKIDA replies to critiques

Wow! I am all verklempt! You have no idea how nervous I was before
submitting.Your comments and suggestions are so wonderful!!! I get the list
in digest form so let me respond "en masse" as it 'twere.

Actually, this is probably the only time in my life when incompetance and
ignorance has paid off. I bought the java script from a web designer (who
didn't know how to change it and that's when I took over the project
myself) The rest of the original artwork was done almost a decade ago by a
professional for a newsletter I had. Back then things were in black and
white so I just "colored" the tiles. I can't draw worth squat, am still on
beginner level of Photoshop 3.0, so I couldn't see any other way to put the
site together. Dumb luck, and then I get the credit too, can't beat that.
So they were right all along - less is more!!!!

I will try to replace my front page code with yours tonight. I'm real
excited about this cause it means I can translate it for every page and
load faster. Thanks much.

Hmmm . . . yeah, I guess I could lose the bottom of the front page.
Although I am in the process of making a "one click" deal with MindSpring
who nursed me through this project with their wonderful 24/7 tech support -
patiently answering all questions informatively. Perhaps put the banner on
another page?

You're right about the lack of info on ANKIDA's people. I didn't know what
to do. I haven't gotten my Ph.D. yet (but am within 6 mos or so) and didn't
want to put my info in until I had it nailed. I have a large and various
group of dedicated professionals from literally all counseling areas. The
majority of these people each have 15 to 20 years experience.
Existentialist New Agers to traditional psychotherapists to hard core
fundamentalists from the religious right and everything in between. There
is no way to briefly explain how it is that all have eagerly agreed to work
individually under this one umbrella. An amazingly great and talented group
of people. You got an idea on how to handle this, I'm eager to hear.

Oh dear. This is the kind of stuff that takes me days to understand, simple
as it is. I will save it for the weekend when I am less likely to bash my
brains in for failing to achieve success on the first try.  Will report
further later. Thanks for your kind words.

The one thing that appears to be a problem is that no one checked out the
services offered or was interested in them. Obviously the site does not
lead people in that direction. Any suggestions from your collective wisdom
on how to remedy this problem?
