Navigation Strip Critique Please

Hi, I`m just starting work on a new site and have come up with a new navigation strip using javascript.  As I am on Macintosh I am struggling to find out how it works on other platforms and especially in Explorer rather than netscape..  Any feedback regarding the functionality will be very helpfull. also any feedback on your personal opinion of the navigation would also be great..

The page is extremely early but it works, well for me :)
