Mailing List Adsby simone(at)genesisnetwork.net (Demitrius) |

Hi, I haven't seen this brought up yet, but if it has been, please excuse me. As a source of generating revenue, what about placing a small, text ad to the bottom of all the mailing list posts? Something like this: ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ DreamPage HTML Editor We listened to you and brought you the features you asked for http://www.dreampage.comm/ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ As I understand it, targeted mailing lists bring in good ad revenue because they have such a high, focused readership: http://www.webweek.com/plwebcgi/idoc.pl2418+unix+_free_user_+www.webweek.com ..80+Publications+Publications+Web_Week+Web_Week++mailing26lists I know it's a long URL but the article is worth reading. This could or could not tie into our banner advertisers. We may want to offer this service in addition to the banner ad placed at the HWG website. Or we may want to sell the mailing list space on it's own. In my opinion, if we limit the number of e-mail ads to just one per list, it wouldn't be so obtrusive. Thoughts?
