Hello Mary,

Can you explain exactly what happens?
I use PSP5 and Ulead Gif SmartSaver extensively and I'm yet to experience
that problem.

Just two wild guesses:
Have you checked if your gifs are version 89a?
and/or
Aren't you trying to reduce to much the number of colors? As a reminder,
SmartSaver maintains the previous settings whenever you make a optimization.
If your last optimization was, say, 5 colors and then you load it again, it
will default to the 5 colors optimization again. That and all other
optimizations settings you previously used.
