It is untrue that you need a cgi script to send a form, email or not.  There
are many solutions out there, in many languages and styles.  Simple point
being, that an onclick call from the submit button can create a dialog box
that says thanks for responding, or it can send a usee to a page, which meta
refreshes back to some other page.

Peter, you must use a cgi script in order to process the form.  In the
script, you are able to insert any message you desire as a response once the
page is submitted.  You can even show what has been submitted.
