Sure, it's easy.

1. Using PS, select the line marquee from the tools menu (it's behind the
rectangle). Set up your crosshatch pattern using the shift key to select
more than one area. Do the horizontal and vertical areas till you have your
crosshatch pattern completely defined.

2. On the menu line, click Selection, Save Selection and mark New Channel -
Click OK - this is the easy part.

3. On the tool bar, probably down there where your Layers and Paths tabs
are, click on Channels (or from the menu bar click Windows, Show Channels).
You'll see your crosshatch pattern defined below the blue channel. Click on
it and the channel will display in your windows.

4. Using the magic wand, select one of the squares.

5. Return to the Layers tab now and you'll see your selection with the
usual dotted lines that'll make you dizzy if you watch them too long.

6. Now the fun part - Quick as you can, real fast without stuttering -
Cntrl-C (to copy the selected area), Cntrl-N (to open a new window - You'll
get a new window sized to the selected area - Click OK on it), and finally
Cntrl-V (to paste the selected area onto the new window).

7. That's it - Repeat steps 3 - 6 till you have all your selections on
individual windows and save accordingly. Serve in cups, bowls, or on paper
plates. Add some parsley for garnish or garlic to ward off vampires.
Serves million just like McD's.

8. Lastly - Have fun - Hope it works well for you
