Thanks, Mark, for info on how to accomplish the slice/dice function in
PS.

But this is too cumbersome! Isn't there another alternative? Since we
need to be pixel-perfect here, why isn't there a way to enter exact
dimensions so we're not just dragging the guides to "about the right
place?" And selecting from one corner of the intersections to another?

Surely there is a filter or some other method which will allow us to
pick dimensions by pixel, and then click on "OK" and the diced image
components are created. This is, after all, the computer age, right? :)

I use Dicer and though it is useful I still want the precision I'd get
by specifying 0,51,0,100 or something like that for top left, top right,
bottom left, bottom right.

Someone has developed a solution along these lines for PS or PSP
perhaps - haven't you, someone?
