The Adobe interface is most likely from it's strong Mac heritage.
I too generally pick up a new app quickly, but found the Adobe
apps more difficult than most. It is a high end specialist app
that was designed for PRINT artwork. That is one of the reasons
it is more difficult to produce WEB artwork in it.

I am a true Corel Believer too.
I tried Adobe Products but could not figure out the interface.
This is rather strange since I am the type of computer "expert" which
will learn on the fly how to use almost any software (with the possible
exeption of german software).
