Several options are avialable to you.
1. Reduce resolution to 72 dpi if not already done.
PSP 5 Can't see how to do this, normally, Image, Resize/Resample,
and choose a new resolution (Picture Publisher, etc)
2. Decrease colours used
PSP 5 From menus, Colours, Decrease colour depth
3. Increase the JPEG compression and reduce the quality.
PSP 5 File, Save as, Options, fiddle to taste
(use a new name so you can go back in case you go too far).
4. Try saving as a gif file.
PSP 5 File, Save as, Compuserve bitmap *.gif, sometimes a jpeg
with few gradations, and large areas of similar colour will
look fine as a gif (256 colour max) and be smaller.
5. Try an altavista search for "web graphics optimising" or similar for
further handy hints.
