Border around Transparent Gif in NN3

Greetings All

I have a site (unfortunately it is an intranet site, so I can't post the
url) with some transparent GIF's in my left-hand navigation Frame.
Everything works fine in IE4, but NN3 seems to randomly draw a little border
around random images. The border's around different pictures every time I
reload the page. If I simply minimize the Browser, and then maximize it
again, the borders disappear.

Sorry if this was asked before, but I had a look at the archives and
couldn't find anything.
