So far I have used 595 pixels as a maximum width for general usage.
I only exceed that on special occasions when I can see no other way
to format some info (large converted spreadshhet for example).
I try not to have a lot of scrolling, unless it is something linear
like a step by step instruction sheet on how to do something.
I keep those as one doc so printing is easier for someone who wants
to take away the instructions for later use.
