This is one I can finally handle. If I can only spell right  :)
To round edges on a bar create a rectangular marquis the length and width
you want the bar to be. DONT fill it with color yet, next choose selectfrom
the menu at the top, then modify and finally smooth choose around 10 pixels
and click ok. and there you have a bar :) Hope I cleared things up :)
