I just returned from Photoshop World in Los Angeles.
I've used Photoshop for about year and a half . . .
Nothing beats it for photography manipulations, collages and stuff -
I saw some fantastic things . . .
But as far as Web graphics - I use Fireworks by Macromedia.
Have for 2 years now. Vector based like Illustrator.
Definitely not for print use, but nothing comes close to it for Web use.
No problems with transparent backgrounds,
