Carol--

You might want to reduce the area of intense green--that will reduce the
need for a color like burgundy to balance it.

Something like #990066 or #993366 would probably work for tiny bits of
accent color, especially if you also toned down the blue a little.

I think the client is just feeling overloaded with green.
