I have to agree with Jeff, spam is usually trying to sell something...or at
least promote a business, letting people on a graphics list that there is a
contest where they get the money (not pay any money) is something I would
have shared too, if I had found out about it first.  & you can bet that I
sent off the URL to my graphic artist friends who I thought talented enough
to compete.  If this were a list about how to ride a horse, announcing a
horse show wouldn't be spamming, especially if it is free to enter.
Secondly, using rude language doesn't help anything.
