I can get them smooth by rasterizing them for the final results
I was just curious about the way the program draws paths to the screen
while working on them.

Hi Brian,

I suppose you are using  Illustrator to create web graphics. If you are
trying to convert vector >> bitmap, you should use "rasterize" >>
anti-aliased. Before copy, of course.

Or paste in Photoshop with "anti-aliased" on.
