Hi!

I have a question if someone could answer please.

I'm not a great artist by hand, actually I'd be totally average, maybe a
little below, but making grapics and graphic related stuff on the PC I seem
to be really good at.

I've been making greeting cards, posters and Logos for a three years now,
and have just moved in wed page designing. My present page is ok, but I'm
redesigning a new one, just trying to learn Mouseon Roll over and Flash!

Well, here's my question for professional graphic designers on this list and
anyone else:
I have realised that graphic creation and layout design is something I seem
to be good at and love doing, and want to do a major in Graphic Design in
University. One Problem! A friend of mine is already doing it, and they have
to do tons of freehand drawings. I'd probably would be able to scrape
through, but it's not something I'm really good at.
Do you need to be a great freehand artist to be a professional Graphic
Designer, as in an advertising company? Coz I'm also trying to look for an
internship.
