Hi from Spain (sorry for my English)
I had the same problem once and you have to be sure that the format is RGB
and 8 bits to save the file in .gif or .jpg format. In 'Image' menu click on
'Mode' and select 'RGB' and '8 bit/chanel' and then try to save the file
again.
