Okay okay, maybe it's because I live in a small town, but I've never heard
of (much less seen) one of these novelty business card-sized CDs. Would
someone be willing to send me one of their's (either one with their promo
materials on it, or one they got and no long have need of)? If anyone is
willing, please email me offlist for my address. I think this sounds like a
nifty little gizmo, but agree that it couldn't be of much more use than a
pocket-sized multimedia advertisement. But I am understandably curious, as I
can see a use for a small-format, limited capacity device such as this...

Also, even though I do not have a slot loading CDROM, I can see how that
would be a problem. Do they have snap-on "enlargers" for slot loaders? I
seem to recall when 3" CDs were common that there was a device that allowed
you to snap this mini CD into a larger frame so a slot loader (or car deck)
could handle it, much like a VHS-C is loaded into a frame to work in
standard VCRs, or those ancient little adapters that were snapped into vinyl
45's to fit the spindle like a 33 1/3 would...

| probably because if you work for an organization made up of people who
like
| gimmicks and frou-frou stuff, (I work for a realtor organization) they
like
| give aways that attract attention and the mini cd business cards attract
| attention.
