Display size?

Anyone seen any current statistics on viewer resolution settings? The last
report I saw (December '98) indicated about 49% of the internet population
browsed at 640x480 and about the at 800x600 (you other 2% know who you are).

Books and such I've perused with 1998 or 1999 copyrights insist that the
640x480 market share is still high and that the 640x480 design model is
still in vogue (Woe is you, they say, if you present your viewer with the
dreaded horizontal scroll bar).

Thoughts?
