>From your description, it sounds ready-made for Flash. You can also make it
interactive. Learning Macromedia Flash is another matter. Hard program to
learn. Adobe's animated program, Live Motion, might be easier and creates the
same results.

<< I have a new project coming up and I am at a loss as to what tools I need

I am going to be designing an interactive online demo of some software. I
know we have all seen them along the way, but I never thought to figure out
how they are done.
It is scenario based, for example, you are a manager for a stock brokerage
and you need to monitor a certain procedure.
So the scene opens with a description of the user. The first thing the
person has to do is to open the program and go to that selection.
So I want an animated cursor moving across the screen to a drop down menu
and selecting Procedure X. Then I want the screens for Procedure X to show
up and I want either the user or the screen to fill in some data, then go to
another screen that shows the results, etc.
Was I clear enough in my explanation??? Anyone have any ideas on how this is
done?
