Which version of Photoshop are you using. It doesn't make sense if
you're using Photoshop 4. The text you typed in should become a new
layer which you can move wherever you want. Earlier version of
Photoshop might be different. I'm wondering if you're using the Type
Mask Tool instead of the Type Tool.

Hi everybody,
I've been having a problem with moving text in photoshop. It seems
that everytime I try and move text only the outline moves, then I have
to erase the color in the original place and color in the outline that I
just moved. I know there must be an easier way of moving thing around.
(this doesn't only happen with text). Thanks for your help.
