RE: Photoshop 4.0

My Photoshop 4.0 (as far as I know, there is only one version of 4.0) is 
a brand new install, just like your's, not an upgrade.  I have a total 
of 13 built-in filter menus.  You are missing 8 filter menus: Noise, 
Pixelate, Render, Sharpen, Sketch, Stylize, Texture, and Video.  May be 
you should reinstall the software.  Or if you don't want to mess up your 
customized copy of PS4, install another copy on a separate directory 
just to see if those missing filters show up.  I don't believe that 
would cause any conflict.  Someone else on this list might want to 
comment.

Seems that I am the only one who is blur here. I am not sure which Adobe
Photoshop 4.0 you are using now.

In my computer, I just can not find these Menuitems you mentioned. In MY
Photoshop 4.0, I can only see "Artistic, Blur, Brush Strokes, Distort,
Other" under "Filter" menu. Where are "Render" and "Style" Menuitem

I am really confused at what version of Photoshop you are using NOW as I

I think I may not be as expert in image processing as many of you are.
However, in dealing with Computer Software, to dig out its function, to
expose the MENU tree structure, I do not think I am so falling behind 
that I
can not see "RENDER" menu or "STYLE" menu as many of you have mentioned 
to
me to find the "Emboss", "Clouds" plugins there. (I hv been using 
Borland
C++ for years, the menu structure there is much more complex than
Photoshop.)

So I really do not know why there should be the difference as I can not 
peek
into YOUR computer.

Are you installing a Photoshop 4.x from an existing Photoshop 3.x? I am
installing brand new (no update).
