You can do some nifty stuff using the build-in Photoshop 4 filters. I
can give you one example. Let's say you want to make a person's eyes
smaller, you use the circle marquee tool to select one of the eyes by
makeing an oval shape. You may have to rotate the marquee if the eyes
are not level. Feather it by a few pixels (how many pixels depends on
the resolution you're using and the kind of effect you're trying to
achieve). Then apply the Distort-Pinch filter. Do the same to the
other eye.
Most effects in Kai's Power Goo can be achieved with Photoshop.
However, it might take longer to do.

Macintosh. From the ads, I think Kai's Power Goo will help me do this
for about $49. I'm wondering if there are alternatives. Cheaper?
Better? Plug-in for Photoshop? Workarounds?
