Try putting all the image tags (including the "a" tags) from the same 
row on one single line. (i.e. <a href=""><img></a><a href="">....

I am trying to make an image inside a table, but I can't get rid of the 
spacing between the cells.

 I am using the tags that I know of that are supposed to 
work,CELLPADDING=0 
CELLSPACING= 0, and it is still not working. You can see the image and
