Picture problem...

Hello,

Just added to the list here...  thought I'd BEG for advice!

Please help me to solve my problem...  I have various pictures in .jpg 
format (I know, I know.  But I just don't like the way they convert to 
.gif's).  Anyway, I just can't understand why they look so awful in IE 
for AOL?!  They look fine in IE as a stand alone, and Netscape 3 and 
4... but as soon as I get back on AOL it's back to the drawing board. Is 
there someone with AOL that can take a look?

(It's isn't a complete site, still have to get things organized and 
finish some of the links... but most of the pages on the characters are 
up and have pics on them.  And yes, I'll fix the index page :)

I am so far from being an expert on graphics, so please go easy!  If it 
helps, I took a digital pic of most of the old photos, then converted 
them from .bmp's to .jpg's with Paint Shop Pro 5.  The only scan is the 
collage.
