A couple thoughts. first, by definition anti aliasing makes it blurry (the edges actually) so might not want to use it. You will probably want the lines of the letters as wide as possible so they stay recognizable. so make it bold or higher point size with smaller line height. you might also try making the text as size 30+ separately and then resampling that down to fit the button. good luck, if it still doesn't work you may have to rethink the usefulness of buttons that size. or at least the words you have on them. (think of more succinct ways of saying each item.)
