Rex,

Paint Shop Pro has a standard feature which will make buttons for you. Just 
bring in the graphic, increase the colors to 16 million, and click on the 
"button" feature. You can then control the colors of the sides/top/bottom 
and the % of buttonizing. You can get PSP from http://www.jasc.com
