Hello everyone:

My name is Lisa and I have been working primarily as a graphic designer
and production artist for 10 years. At university I also took Computer
Science courses besides my Design and Marketing majors -- just because
Ive always had an interest in art and computer science. At long last a
medium where both of my interests (which are also strengths) can be
utilized. So now I am making my living as an Internet Consultant.

I am on the Executive Committee of the National Board of Directors of a
major Visual Artists Union -- which also has increasing numbers of Web
developers. Web development is not just code or design alone -- its a
successful merging of the two -- although technically it is an IT
profession. I have also worked as an Advertising Account Executive and
a Marketing Project Manager -- experience which I am also finding handy
in dealing with my clients.

Im reworking the site for my own company as we speak and I have one
site that I consulted on and cant get credit for (long story but beware
of anyone who claims to want to hire you but needs to "test" you first
-- things arent always as they seem).

I am really wanting to become stronger with coding -- especially DHTML,
Java and Javascript. Graphics are the least of my worries. Most of what
I have learned I have persued on my own or from being thrown in with
the wolves from the outset on projects --

Looking forward to making some friends I hope. Im currently in the
midst of relocating from New York City to the Greater London area.

Cheers and toodley pip

Lisa
