I have an alternative -- why not use Adobe Type Manager and Reunion ---
a much more effective way to manage your fonts and lets you activate
and deactivate fonts as well as view them from within the Type Manager
and all Applications --- literally WYSISYG. ATM also lets you create
all the folders you need to manage your fonts. You can
activate/ceactivate fonts or whole folders as you need.
