The answer is no unless you crop the images so they are the same proportions.
In other words, your images could be, for instance, 300 x 600 pixels and
600x1200 pixels (which are different sizes but the same proportions). Your
300X600 might become 200x400. So could your 600x1200 end up that size.
When in Photoshop and resizing (Image>Image Size), check the box Constrain
Proportions. That will not allow the image to get unproportioned. You can
then look at them and see if you can crop them to be all the same size.
It is best not to enlarge any of them from the original scanned in size, just
make smaller. If you need a larger image than the original, then scan it in
that percentage (ie: 200%) or, at least, larger than the size you need.
