Re: Browser font issues on the Macby Honeywebster(at)aol.com |

I was told that IE 5.0 was designed to the standards that W3C set. It has been the former versions of IE and Netscape to less of an extent (and some other browsers) that haven't been following the standards. This is the way things should appear if all browsers followed the standards. Since we have not be designing to the standards but to try to compensate between Netscape and former IE versions, we now may have to go back and rework everything. It is still "their fault". The designers have been just trying to deal with what has been not what was suppose to be. It would be nice if once and for all every browser followed the standards, whatever they are. -Janet
