Hi Tom,
4.5 Minutes on the Internet?
Maybe you might want to go find and download Star Wars tailor first. Also,
maybe have your client do the same. How long is it? How long does it take to
download?
Right now I'm working a CD-ROM with a 20 sec. clip at 15 fps and it is 7.3 Mb
using Quicktime with Soreson CODEC. I'm using a Media100 video capture card
and Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
There are a few in the $200 range, which is about as "affordable" as they get.
As with most things you get what you pay for. You might want to figure out
how much video and animation work you want to do and decide if it is worth
the investment.
You can look at catalogs & online stores find what's out there & what they do.
Well, I leave you with one final warning & question!
A few years ago when I fist used Photoshop I fell in love. Less then a year
ago I started using After Effects and fell deeply in love again. But video
toys cost more then photo toys.
<<Should I buy food and pay the rent or upgrade my computer & software?>>
I hope this helps,
