Hello all,
What a great thread to get us all talking!

I've been in graphic design for years. I actually started 30 years ago
working for a traditional publisher with a drawing table, rubber cement and
pen.

About twelve years ago I learned desktop publishing as it was just getting
started. We worked on Mac's without a hard drive and did *everything* on
floppies.

For the past few years I've been using a PC. Taught myself Internet and
HTML. Currently learning JavaScript when I have a minute. And for those who
say it can't be done, I'm currently using a 486 running Win 3.11, with a
640x480 display. (I check everything at other sizes, too.) I use PSP 3.11,
and a black & white hand scanner. I write all of my HTML by hand. I get
lots of ideas from this list even though I don't have all of the current
software.

I create web sites for community groups, as well as teach the internet to
newbies.
