Well, I don't want to be boring, but any modern wordprocessor has a
'textart' facility (not only WordPerfect) and if published to html and the
gif isolated, the results you want can be achieved quickly and easily
without all the song and dance which others have described for photoshop!
If you have any difficulties, contact me and I will show you some examples.
