I design for what looks good to me, and (if space is an issue) to keep size
down. If you design in 24bit, design in 24bit. The browsers do a decent
job of downgrading graphics (IMHO). Not everyone is as fortunate to have a
nifty dandy high scale monitor. I went a long time on an 800x600 256 color
monitor! (in fact, as long as no one asks for the monitor i'm using now
back, i can keep away from that evil monster :) =20
What I do, is usually include a page describing how I created the pages,
what special techniques, etc... on this page i usually list my reccommended
setup (ie, 1024x768x16bit, with and *ADVANCED* browser... i try to stay
away from any given browser) Anyway... Hope that helps...
Damon.
