You can put a watermark on the image itself.  If anyone downloads the
images and tries to reuse it, they will look foolish, since it will be
obvious that they were swiping images.

Another thing you can do is put some form of copyright notice at the bottom
of your page.  This will also discourage people for just taking stuff from
your site, and the people who do want to use your stuff will probably ask
instead of just taking.
