Graphics Compressor: Suggestion

I have found that Adobe's ImageReady is great for compressing and seeing
various compressions right in the program.  

It's worth it just for this, plus it does almost everything PS does
(layers, batches, multiple undos) except fine tuning like cloning and
gradients, which I do have to go for PS for.  But if you're just doing
straight imagae manipulations and working primarily with images for the web
it's perfect -- plus great for gif animations and image maps.
