I seem to be having a bit of a trouble, something I have never run across before. I wanted to constrain the size of an image, allowing any user with any screen resolution to see the full picture and not, say, cut something off or repeat tiles due to browser size. Therefore, I made the image in question a background image of a table. With me so far? :)

Now, the problem I am running into is that when I want to put in a LOWSRC image allowing the low res image to load first, the LOWSRC image /never/ loads.

I believe the tag is set up correctly, and have tried this several ways. Here is the latest:

 	<<TD BACKGROUND="images/blondjf2.jpg" LOWSRC="images/blondjf-bw.gif"

       ALT="text here" WIDTH="600" HEIGHT="809" ALIGN="RIGHT" VALIGN="TOP">

So I guess this is a new HTML problem for me. Does LOWSRC in fact work when using the image as a table background, or is this limited to a regular IMG SRC tag?
