Animation Compression Website/Software

Hello all!

I have looked through the archives and can't seem to find what I am looking
for, even though I know I have seen it with a post before, even recently
maybe? :-(

Anyway, back to the point......

Can someone please give me a url of where I can take animated .gifs and
have them compressed (preferrbly for FREE) or a shareware software that you
have used and feel does a good, PROFESSIONAL job on the graphic.
