Illustrator is a drawing program. You can sketch, play with text, and
create logos without jagged edges and with the ability to resize it without
losing quality. For example, say you design a logo for a webpage... your
client likes it, he wants it blown up and put on a Billboard (I'm being
creative here)... if you did the logo on photoshop, you will have to do it
all over again... but on Illustrator, you can simply resize the image. Or,
how about backgrounds in which you have dashed lines, or dotted.. and you
want it to go around in a spiral, or with the shape of a star? Those are
some of the things you can do with it. Just use your imagination.
