Now THIS is ironic! I was just messing with this problem this morning. I
had a graphic that I loaded into my browser and it was very dark with a
reddish tone. I opened it in Photoshop to adjust, and it looked fine. I
couldn't get what I saw in the browser to match what I saw in Photoshop.
This particular graphic was in JPG format.
Then, I opened it in Paint Shop Pro. It looked just as bad as in the
browser. I adjusted it in THERE, and it looked beautiful in the browser.
(Looked exactly as it did in PSP.) Opened it in Photoshop again, and it
looked completely washed out.
Sorry this isn't an answer to your question. You just beat me to the
question I had! So, if anyone has any answers to this one, please copy me.
