Re: graphic files in email

You can be "cutting edge" OR you can be considerate on an ordinary mail
list of those less technically advance in their equipment and connection.
Myself, I can recieve html email, I just don't like it. If I want to see
fancy stuff I'll go to the web.

To which I reply, So what? So what? So what?  This push to equalize
everybody on the web smacks of socialism.  Many people still own black and
white televisions.  Should we abandon the use of color because of this?
Many don't own a car.  should we stop building roads?  I see this attitude
all over the Internet and web, as if we are all participating in some sort
of collective or communal endeavor.  And, "world-harmony-ish" as it may
seem to believe this, we are not.  This is a medium, not a religion.
