Reality check

Hi,


Been lurking in the background and thought this might be a good time to introduce myself.  I have learned about the web and graphics by listening and digesting the information in the postings.  Still, there is more for me to learn.  For example, because of what was being reported in the postings I bought ULead's PhotoImpact.  I have been using it to update our web site  Also, I am using Front Page Express, or Notepad for HTML.


My wife is into doing crafts and she has put together some successful shows.  We thought that we could put her products on the internet.


I am a 48 your old retired mechanic, Viet Nam veteran, who has graduated from college with a B.S. in Human Services, and an advanced degree in Social Work.  Linda, my wife, works as a data analyst and making crafts.

I am now working on learning about layers, transparencies, and objects.  Might seem academic to you, but we're learning a lot here.


You all have been a great help.  Mostly with keeping the creative juices flowing.


It's like stepping off an edge, with your eyes straight ahead, never knowing what you might find and hoping that it's not to far down.  HA!
