Ok, I'm NOT a professional graphics guru.

However it seems to me like a key element of this string is being
overlooked here - functionality.

1) Photoshop don't do web pages. <==== notice the period
Using *any* page layout program to see what a page is going to look like
is (in my opinion) wasted effort. Because HTML is by design dynamic, all
those 'nudge it to the left a pica and up two' efforts can only ultimately
frustrate you - you DO NOT have that level of control with HTML <yet>.

2) The *only* potential 'saving grace' here is the intent to publish this
on an INTRAnet. *IF* all the workstations are identical, *IF* they all run
the same browser under the same (exact) OS, *IF* a compatible WYSIWUG
editor is used, the pages _might_ display close to identically - if the
display at all, WUSIWUG is the biggest pile of bull s&%^ ever propagated!.
Whole lotta if here folks :-)

On the other hand . . . (knew that was coming didn't you)

*IF* someone fluent in html has enough 'moxy' to focus the bosses on
content instead of points and picas this job is indeed do-able.

I know, I know, my point is:

To heck with 'the boss'. Given the lack of (HTML) skills recounted by the
designer - the ONLY solution here is to tell 'the boss' to fly a kite.
Then, when I got fired I would go straight to his boss (or my lawyer) and
explain this assignment was akin demand I fly a 747 because I had built
model airplanes when I was a kid.

Did any of that make sense?
Fuzzy
